On Sunday, the Washington Mystics had a 104-67 victory over the Connecticut Sun, snapping their three-game losing streak. It was their first win of the Commissioner's Cup, led by Brittney Sykes. The veteran guard had 28 points and six assists on 14-for-15 shooting from the free throw line.

Iriafen is averaging an impressive 14 points, 10 rebounds, and an assist on 51 percent from the field and 84 percent from the free throw line. Iriafen is second only to Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers in points per game and became the youngest Mystics player in two decades to record a 20-point performance.

The No. 4 pick in this spring’s draft has been a bright spot for the Mystics during the early part of the season.
