The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has issued an air quality alert for a wide range of central and southern Minnesota due to the continuing wildfires in Canada.

Smoke has made its way back into the northern tier of the U.S., prompting air quality alerts in North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana on Wednesday and Thursday.
