Iowa has already put together an impressive group of offensive linemen in its 2026 recruiting class. Four-star Carson Nielsen of Waterloo West committed to Iowa last year. Linder, a 6-foot-5 280-pound offensive lineman who attends Chanhassen High School in Minnesota, announced his pledge to the Hawkeyes on Sunday. Now Whitters joins that group.

Linder becomes the fourth commitment in Iowa's 2026 recruiting class. He joins another offensive lineman, 4-star Carson Nielsen of Waterloo West. The Hawkeyes also have a verbal pledge from quarterback Cash Herrera. Marcello Vitti currently stands as Iowa's lone commitment on the defensive side of the ball in the 2026 recruiting class.
