About 100 people gathered Thursday outside Orlando City Hall to protest the policies of the Trump administration as part of the nationwide “Good Trouble Lives On” demonstrations.
Demonstrators are planning to protest President Donald Trump and his administration’s rollback of civil rights in the Loop Thursday afternoon as part of more than 1,000 “Good Trouble Lives On” rallies planned across the United States.
The protest called "Good Trouble Lives On" is the latest national day of action, it also marks the five-year anniversary since the death of civil rights activist Congressman John Lewis. Those like Jerry Hendey, said he attended the protest in order to protest what the administration has been doing.
The downtown Raleigh rally, part of national “Good Trouble Lives On” protests, will focus on a GOP bill that would affect North Carolina elections.
