3-alarm fire breaks out at multiple storage units in Steele Creek
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Crews were battling a 3-alarm fire at a storage facility in the Steele Creek area Monday afternoon. At approximately 3:48 p.m., Charlotte Fire began receiving multiple calls reporting heavy smoke and flames coming from a storage facility in the 9400 block of South Tryon Street near Westinghouse Boulevard.
