Remains found in Dallas confirmed to be those of missing Houston woman Deundrea Ford; suspect Yoland J. Washington charged with her murder.

Authorities confirmed that the remains of 22-year-old Deundrea Ford, who vanished last September, were discovered in Dallas, bringing an end to the almost year-long search. Yoland J. Washington, 51, has been charged with murder in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of Ford.

In connection with Ford's death, Yoland J. Washington, 51, has been charged with murder. He is currently in custody at the Dallas County Jail and will be extradited to Harris County. Washington was initially arrested on unrelated charges before evidence linked him to Ford’s disappearance.
