The final snowstorm of January 2025 is on its way to Colorado. A California low is moving across the southwest and will be pushing into the southern Rockies Wednesday into Thursday.This will be a big snow-maker for southern Colorado and will have an impact on the Thursday morning commute across the Front Range.

Mainly sunny skies are back across the state Tuesday, with seasonal highs expected along the Front Range in the Denver weather forecast.

Temperatures will climb no higher than 20 in Denver today, with light snow tapering off by 11 p.m. Highs of 27 and 44 are expected Sunday and Monday as the sky clears. About 2 inches of snow had accumulated by Saturday morning in Denver, and some of the heaviest overnight snowfall was reported in Allenspark, which saw 5.1 inches.

Portions of southwestern Colorado will see nearly a foot of snow this week with some potential for snow south and east of Denver by Wednesday night into Thursday, according to NWS forecasters.

Much of the state woke up to several inches of snow on Saturday, and more is in the forecast for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday weekend.

The Denver area could see some snow chances Thursday, which will be a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day. But the rest of the forecast features mild days with high temperatures in the 50s over the next week.
