If the United States were to not give Ukraine the military support it needs, it would be a serious setback for Ukraine, the EU and NATO, Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Thursday.

Denmark has expressed its support for Ukraine's membership in the European Union, while also seeking to improve its diplomatic relations with Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Denmark as the Nordic country launches its European Union presidency.
