Wildfires are raging across multiple western states, threatening hundreds of homes and burning through thousands of acres.

Dozens of wildfires are burning across the West, including in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. In California, there are 14 active fires, with seven of those starting just over the weekend. The Gifford Fire north of Santa Barbara doubled in size in 24 hours.
