And he's not wrong. Since Kraft took full control of the Patriots back in 1994, the club has only had six seasons of under .500 football, and three of which have come in the last three seasons.

Still, for many owners, like Robert Kraft of the New England Patriots, owning the team has its own value worth holding onto. Now 84 years old, it would make some sense if Kraft wanted to move on.

Kraft knows how poorly the past two seasons went, and he has faith that the new leadership will help New England get back over .500 and into the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
