The AP changed the way it put together its postseason all-star teams this season as college football introduced an expanded 12-team playoff that had some schools playing as many as four postseason games.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Calvin Simpson-Hunt has entered the transfer portal. The cornerback is departing after his sophomore season with the Buckeyes. In Ohio State’s run to a College Football Playoff National Championship, Simpson-Hunt played six defensive snaps and recorded two tackles.

Even after winning the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Ohio State will still lose a handful of players to the transfer portal. Freshman running back Sam Williams-Dixon became the first player to leave the program the day after the Buckeyes’ statement victory.
