West Brom have finally confirmed the signing of Adam Armstrong on loan from Southampton, in a deal that was a real coup for Tony Mowbray’s side. It was a hectic final day of the window for the Baggies, with Alex Palmer’s surprise departure to Ipswich Town coming as a blow for the fans.

Adam Armstrong has sealed a loan move to West Bromwich Albion for the rest of the season. Saints and the Baggies had to wait until Tuesday morning for the FA and EFL’s decision on whether the transfer would go through.

Adam Armstrong hasn't had many chances to shine at Southampton this season and that will see him return to the second-tier
