Scrubs” is officially scrubbing back in at ABC. Variety has learned that the planned reboot of the beloved hospital comedy has been ordered straight-to-series at the broadcaster for the 2025-2026 season.
A long-discussed revival of the 2000s comedy series has landed a series order from ABC, where it's been in development since December 2024 - though series creator Bill Lawrence and members of the cast have talked about reuniting for years before that.

The other good news besides the straight-to-series order is that “Scrubs” star Donald Faison, Braff’s friend on and offscreen, is also going to be leading the show again as Christopher Turk. So is “Scrubs” original Sarah Chalke, who will reprise the role of Elliot Reid, with all three actors serving as executive producers.
