The Ohio State-Notre Dame game Monday delivered ratings good enough to make it the second-most watched sporting event of the past year.

The Ohio State-Notre Dame game averaged 22.1 million viewers on Monday night. While that was the most-watched game in the 2024 College Football Playoffs, it was also down significantly from last year's championship game between the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies, which averaged 25.05 million viewers a year ago.
