Eggs sold in Michigan part of salmonella recall labeled highest possible risk by FDA
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has upgraded a previous egg recall over salmonella concerns to a classification that brings the highest possible risk if consumed – and Michigan is one of the state's the tainted eggs were sold from.

The recalled eggs were also sold and distributed in Illinois and Wisconsin, however the Center for Disease Control says illnesses have been reported in nine states. So far, at least 65 people have gotten sick with same strain on salmonella and 24 of those people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported in connection with the issue.
