Jr NTR has blamed the audience for Devara’s underperformance at the box office and said they have become too judgemental and negative

Jr NTR-starrer Devara released in theatres on September 27. After a stellar opening, the film saw a major drop in its box office numbers.

Recently, during an interview organized by the makers Devara with Jr NTR and Koratala Siva, the actor said, “We as an audience have become very negative these days. We are not able to enjoy a film in an innocent manner anymore,” India Today reported.

Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's Devara: Part 1 has crossed Rs 250 crore mark at the box office domestically during its second week. On Day 12, the Hindi version earned Rs 1.35 crore, taking the total collection to Rs 55.95 crore. The Telugu version, on the other hand, earned Rs 3.13 crore, taking the nett box office collection to Rs 188.33 crore.

Devara - Part 1’ starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark at the Indian box office by Day 12. Despite a dip in second-weekend collections, the film’s total earnings reached approximately Rs 253.

Devara: Part One has got two more days of free run at the box office before Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan hits the screens as the big Dussehra release this year. However, the Jr NTR-starrer is expected to achieve its respective box office benchmarks despite the new release.
