Jim Larrañaga stepped down as Miami men’s basketball coach Thursday, resigning less than two years after he led the school to its first Final Four appearance. He announced the decision during a news conference at Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, where the team plays.

"I just didn't feel like I could successfully navigate this whole new world that I was dealing with," Larrañaga, 75, said.
