On Wednesday afternoon, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles voted against commuting Roberson’s death sentence to life in prison or delaying his execution.

Death row inmate Robert Robeson has been summoned to appear before the Texas House of Representative’s committee on criminal jurisprudence on Oct. 21, in order to testify to the committee, according to a state representative’s social media post.
