Scheffler, thanks in part to an absolutely wild chip-in down the stretch at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland, overtook Robert MacIntyre to claim the BMW Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Robert MacIntyre could only applaud from the scoring room when J.J. Spaun wrapped up the U.S. Open with his epic putt at Oakmont two months ago.

Scheffler, who on Sunday won his 18th PGA Tour event at the BMW Championship, can intimidate a field just with his presence on the final round leaderboard.
