Keanu Reeves joined Sandra Bullock to lead a 30th anniversary screening of their 1994 action thriller “Speed” at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday.

Bullock and Reeves shared the Egyptian Theatre stage with filmmaker Jan de Bont and moderator Jim Hemphill for a lively 50-minute conversation to mark the 30th anniversary of 'Speed.'

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are ready for rush hour. Speed, the iconic thriller led by the superstars back in 1994, celebrated its 30th anniversary by reuniting Reeves, 60, and Bullock, 60 on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The special Los Angeles screening was part of Beyond Fest at American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre.

"We knew we were doing something wacky," Reeves, 60, said of making the movie in which he portrays a police officer trying to prevent a bomb from exploding on a city bus – driven by a passenger named Annie (Bullock) – by keeping the speed above 50 mph.
