In a new memoir and newspaper interview, Deryck Whibley alleges that Avril Lavigne told him he was being sexually abused by his manager.

Deryck Whibley claims the abuse began when he was a teenager and his alleged abuser, Greig Nori, was in his 30s.

One alleged encounter shared in the book saw an 18-year-old Whibley invited into a bathroom stall by Nori to have a drop of ecstasy. Whibley claimed Nori then ‘passionately’ kissed him and he walked away ‘stunned’.

Whibley claims the abuse from his manager intensified after he began a relationship with Avril Lavigne, to whom he was married from 2006 to 2009.
