The Met Office has issued an amber weather alert for large parts of England, warning of heavy rain and flooding. Percipitation is likely to lead to disruption, officials have warned. These include Derbyshire, Blackburn with Darwen, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and North, South and West Yorkshire.
