Demi Moore's daughters are sharing praise for their mom after she earned her first Oscar nomination at the 2025 Oscars. Moore was nominated for best actress at the 97th Academy Awards for her work in the body horror film "The Substance" on Thursday.

The Brutalist” and “Wicked” secured 10 nominations apiece in a year with a wide-open best picture race. Acting nominees include Demi Moore, Cynthia Erivo, Adrien Brody and Timothée Chalamet.

Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Demi Moore are among the nominees for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards, set for Feb. 16 in London. The awards ceremony will stream in the U.S. on BritBox.

As the Oscar nominations came out, Wicked was a heavy-hitter on the list with ten nominations. Along with her co-star Ariana Grande also reacting to her Best Supporting Actress nod, Cynthia Erivo had some sweet things to say about being in the running for Best Actress this year. In addition to Best Picture, “Anora” earned six Academy Award nominations, including Best Director (Sean Baker), Best Actress (Madison) and Best Original Screenplay. Additionally, Russian actor Yura Borisov, who gives perhaps the most surprising performance of the film, received a much-deserved Best Supporting Actor nod.
