BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball guard Trey Galloway orchestrated a fitting send-off for him and his fellow seniors on the same day they were honored at Assembly Hall. Galloway’s 3-pointer with 1:24 left the game that all but clinched the 66-60 victory over Ohio State.

Trey Galloway has been at Indiana for five seasons. He is the all-time leader in games played in Hoosiers history.

As the Indiana men’s basketball team took the floor for the final time before tipoff Saturday afternoon against Ohio State, fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway took his usual place at the front of a long, Cream and Crimson-colored line.

Trey Galloway and Malik Reneau scored 16 points each and Indiana erased a 10-point second-half deficit en route to a 66-60 victory over Ohio State.

Indiana finished the regular season on a high note, and Hoosiers fans left Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with smiles on their faces.

Ohio State's final five minutes Saturday evening at Indiana were enough to send the Buckeyes to a stinging defeat at Assembly Hall.

Indiana secured the No. 9 seed and a first-round bye in the Big Ten Tournament with the win over the Buckeyes. The Hoosiers will begin postseason play against the No. 8 seed in the second round at noon Thursday in Indianapolis. The contest will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
