Northwestern slumped in the last 9:35 of the first half, but was it good defense or good fortune? Indiana found out the hard way in the second half.

Oumar Ballo had a terrific all-around game, finishing with 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes. Mgbako broke out of his shooting slump and went 8-for-14 from the field to lead IU with 20 points.

Woodson is now 0-5 against Northwestern. According to tonight’s Big Ten Network broadcast, it’s the first time Indiana has lost five straight to the Wildcats since 1913-15. That’s 110 years ago. That’s not a good look.
