For the fifth time in less than a year since it was released, the Tesla Cybertruck has been recalled. This time the problem involves the rearview camera display which may not activate immediately after shifting the vehicle into reverse.

Whether motorists love the Tesla Cybertruck or hate it, they wouldn’t like having this one in the rearview mirror. The police department in Irvine, California, became the first to employ the unusual vehicle in the line of duty.

Tesla is recalling 27,185 Cybertruck vehicles because of visibility problems with their rearview camera. It is the fifth recall for the stainless steel electric pickup truck since it first hit the road at the end of 2023.
