A storm stretching 1,000 miles along the Eastern Seaboard will bring the western Carolinas some of their heaviest rain since the remnants of Hurricane Helene.
Flood advisories were in effect as a dozen states were at risk of severe storms, tornadoes and hail. Some areas could see 2 months' worth of rain.
WASHINGTON (7News) — Wet weather has damaged many parts of DMV after a storm front on Tuesday, with rain expected to continue until early Wednesday morning and likely storms on and off for the remainder of the week.
