Pointless to keep alive but impossible to kill, the "Jurassic" franchise returns for another loud nap of a new installment.

This is all a windup to this: “Jurassic World Rebirth” tries very hard to evoke that same moment of awe. But in the story, the ubiquity of the dinosaurs has left humanity feeling bored and annoyed, cutting the feet out from under those moments. And it’s starting to feel like the movies are getting bored, too.

The $6 billion franchise's seventh installment, "Jurassic World Rebirth," serves as a reset of sorts, bringing back not a single one of its former cast members, but instead allowing screenwriter David Koepp to restore what worked so well about the original film.
