The Oklahoma State Department of Health has notified the public of a potential exposure to measles at an Oklahoma City hospital.
The potential exposure occurred between 6:15 and 10 p.m. on March 23 at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health.

Oklahoma now has nine measles cases in the northeastern part of the state, which is five more than the week before, according to the latest update.
A recent measles exposure at an Oklahoma City metro children’s hospital is prompting other health systems to be proactive in protecting patients.
This week's update added one more case to Oklahoma's total of 10 measles cases. OSDH says on March 19, between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m,. there was a known exposure case at Luigi's Italian Restaurant & Lounge in Weatherford.

Oklahoma is reporting one new confirmed measles case. The agency provided a notice for a public setting exposure site at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant & Lounge in Weatherford from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on March 19. As of Tuesday, Oklahoma has reported eight confirmed measles cases and two probable cases.
