Lakewood Park Church damaged but not deterred from mission to help after Milton tornado hit
The church was damaged by a tornado, spun off by Hurricane Milton, that touched down in Lakewood Park Wednesday, killing six people in nearby Spanish Lakes Country Club Village. A large section of the sanctuary roof was ripped off, windows were blown out and several large trees were uprooted around the property by the tornado.

Report: Multiple deaths confirmed in Fort Pierce tornado outbreak caused by Milton
FORT PIERCE, Fla. – Multiple people were killed Wednesday afternoon in Fort Pierce when as many as 12 tornadoes ripped through the area, according to CBS12.com. The tornado outbreak occurred hours before Hurricane Milton made landfall in Siesta Key, about 150 miles away on the opposite side of the state.
