A PAOCC official says it is too early to tell if Jessica Francisco — or "Mary Ann Maslog" as authorities address her — would be useful in the investigation into dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.

The woman, whom the National Bureau of Investigation said was the same person implicated in a P24-million textbook procurement scam in 1998, on Tuesday told a Senate inquiry how police asked her help to make Alice Guo turn herself in.

"I talked to Mayor Calugay if there is a way for him to contact Miss Alice," she told the Senate panel led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros.
