An Indian Air Force C-295 landed on the south runway of Navi Mumbai International Airport. The first landing marked a milestone in Adani Group’s airport development. The airport began construction in August 2021 and will be ready by early 2025.

Navi Mumbai International Airport's development reached a milestone with the IAF C-295's landing. The first phase is slated for completion by March 2025, with 75% of the terminal done. The facility will feature four terminals and accommodate 90 million passengers annually.

The landing trial, which took place at approximately 12.15 pm, was witnessed by CM Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, along with several MPs

Key dignitaries that are likely to be present include Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, his deputy Murlidhar Mohol, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.
