Disney World Making Big Change to Pair of Major Attractions This Month
Disney World, in Orlando, Florida, is the largest of Disney 's two domestic parks, with the other being Disneyland in Los Angeles. Despite recent downturns at the U.S. parks, data indicates that overall attendance at Disney's locations has been increasing domestically and globally since the pandemic.
These Disney World attractions are moving from virtual queue to standby
Walt Disney World has implemented virtual queues for some of its other popular attractions including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Those virtual queues have since been dropped and the rides now have standby queue options.
Disney: Virtual queue going away for Tiana, Cosmic Rewind rides
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the refurbished Splash Mountain attraction, opened to the public Frontierland last summer. Cosmic Rewind has operated with virtual queues since its opening in May 2022 . The system also formerly was used for Magic Kingdom’s Tron Lightcycle / Run, a coaster that opened in 2023.
