Twelve people were injured in a hot air balloon crash near an archaeological site in Mexico, local authorities say.

A 2-year-old boy was rescued from the sinking vehicle but he later died at the hospital, Muskegon County sheriff's deputies said.

A motor vehicle crash in Dix Hills has closed Commack Road in both directions between Euclid Avenue and Julia Circle, the Suffolk County Police Department said. The crash is being investigated by officers and was reported around 9 a.m., the police press office said in an email.

Seth Webb, 24, died when a Ford F-250 crashed into a picket line at Eaton Aerospace around 11:20 p.m. Sept. 28, at the corner of East Michigan and South East avenues in Jackson.
