Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp issued a state of emergency for counties that could be affected by Hurricane Milton, which could hit Florida Wednesday evening.

Kemp also talked about ongoing recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene, which devastated parts of east and south Georgia.
