Days before that, a Pontiac man with a lengthy criminal history was charged in connection with a string of home invasions and thefts in Rochester Hills. In December, a female Chilean national suspected in a Novi home invasion and accused of entering the country illegally was charged.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several Pontiac home invasion incidents and believes the suspect is targeting girls.
