The Jets requested permission from the Saints to interview their interim coach Darren Rizzi, a Hillsdale native who played high school football at Bergen Catholic.

There are 12 candidates and counting that have been reported to have already interviewed or have interviews on the books with the Jets as of Monday afternoon. Mike Vrabel, who most recently was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 2018-23, had reportedly a positive interview in New York.
