The Office alum shared Tuesday that she was diagnosed with stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer on Dec. 1, 2023, and over the past few months, underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.

The effectiveness of treatment for triple-positive breast cancer depends on its stage. A 2022 study found the five-year overall survival rate for triple-positive breast cancer was 96.7%.

Over the past year, Jenna Fischer was battling stage I triple-positive breast cancer. Now, she says she is cancer free.

Continuing, Fischer said that she was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple-Positive Breast Cancer back in December of last year, but had good news to share.
