ABC announced Thursday that it has ordered the revival of "Scrubs," confirming three original cast members returning.

Variety reported in December that the new iteration was in early development at Disney-owned ABC. “Scrubs” debuted in 2001 on NBC, where it aired for seven seasons before moving to ABC for its final two.
It’s the news that “Scrubs” fans have been waiting for since last December: a revival of the medical comedy series has been greenlit by ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke, who starred in the original version of the show, have signed on to join series lead Zach Braff in the revival.
