ROSEVILLE, Mich. (FOX 2) - Months after an off-duty Detroit police officer allegedly caused a crash that killed a motorcyclist, he has been charged.

A Detroit police officer has been charged in connection with a fatal crash last summer, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday. On Aug. 16, Corey Siquan Jones drove through a red light and was struck by a motorcyclist, Evan Newman, who had been traveling lawfully through a green light, prosecutors said in a release.
