Breakout tournament star Gonzalo García scored his third goal of the Club World Cup to power Real Madrid past Juventus 1-0 in the round of 16 on Tuesday afternoon and into the quarterfinals.

Against Juventus, Alexander-Arnold looked very isolated at times on the Real Madrid right in the first half. That would suit some wing-backs but it is questionable how much it plays to Alexander-Arnold’s strengths. He spent much of that opening period passing safely and, in particular, backwards – as illustrated in the graphic.
