BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA: Nell Smith, a budding musician, lost her life in a car crash on Saturday, October 5 in British Columbia, Canada. In November 2021, when she was just 14, she worked with the psychedelic rock band, The Flaming Lips, to record an album of Nick Cave covers, 'Where the Viaduct Looms', as per Entertainment Weekly.
