Image via Sherrif's Department The search for a missing Montana horseback rider has come to an end. Unfortunately, authorities discovered the body of Meghan Rouns days after she went missing. Officials confirmed that they found her body in a lake on Tuesday afternoon.

Rouns, 27, last spoke with family around 2 p.m. local time on Friday, Oct. 4, the same day she went for a horseback ride in the McMaster Recreation area of Lewis & Clark County, according to NBC affiliate KTVH and CBS affiliate KXLH .
