Kelly Stafford says her daughter "couldn't wait" to be in her dad Matthew Stafford's arms after she was hospitalized while the family was in Arizona for Stafford's NFL game.

Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, documented her daughters' trip to the hospital and subsequent recovery from high fevers in the lead-up to her husband's playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.

On first down, Stafford was being brought to the ground but before he hit the turf, he flicked the ball out of his right hand. It was initially ruled a fumble, which was scooped up and brought back for a touchdown by the Vikings.

In the second quarter of the Los Angeles Rams' wild card matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, the quarterback was being sacked and—without looking—decided to flick the ball out as a pass attempt to avoid a loss of yards. The play was originally ruled a fumble returned for a touchdown. After review, it was changed to an incomplete pass.

Matthew Stafford saved himself eight yards by shoveling a forward pass toward Puka Nacua while in the grip of Minnesota Vikings pass rusher Jonathan Greenard. It was a savvy veteran play -- one that nearly cost the Los Angeles Rams seven points.
