Attorneys for Mahmoud Khalil, the former Columbia University student detained by federal agents last weekend, have released footage his pregnant wife filmed of his arrest. The 2-minute video showed plainclothes officers in the lobby of an apartment building belonging to the university, along with Khalil, who they placed in handcuffs.

Some protesters held signs that read "Fight Nazis not students," "Free Mahmoud free Palestine" and "You can’t deport a movement."
