Soccer-Cates, Chapman and Logan to share Match of the Day presenting duties

Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan will replace Gary Lineker as Match of the Day presenters from next season, the BBC said on Wednesday, the first time the role will be shared between three presenters.

Rather than just one person taking up the role, presenting will be shared between three: Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan. The new team will start at the beginning of the 2025-2026 season. The first edition of Match of the Day was broadcast on BBC Two on 22nd August 1964.
