Maria Flores, 51, of Lindenwold, died of her injuries at an area hospital. The driver of the car suffered moderate injuries while another passenger had minor injuries. The driver and three passengers in the wrong-way vehicle were left with minor injuries, authorities said. The crash remains under investigation.

The crash shut down Interstate 5 for more than five hours before the road reopened around 5 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

Connecticut State Police say a Vernon woman is dead after driving the wrong-way and crashing on Route 5/15 Northbound in Hartford on Thursday night. Troopers say Kelly Caldwell, 23, of Vernon, was driving a 2011 Honda Civic in the wrong-direction near Exit 90 on Route 5/15 Northbound in Hartford around 11:13 p.
