Amazon Prime Video has released its newest high-profile series, Citadel: Diana, a spin-off of the somewhat infamous English-language Citadel

Diana has captivated audiences with its stunning portrayal of the titular character who’s an undercover operative working for a global espionage agency. Ever since Season 1 came out, this Italian drama thriller TV show has brought viewers together in speculating about the fate of the series.

Citadel: Diana mostly takes place in 2030, eight years after the fall of Citadel. That said, there are flashbacks to a younger Diana that explain the circumstances that pulled her into the dangerous life of a double agent.

Citadel: Diana tells the story of Citadel agent Diana who was working undercover at their rival agency, Manticore, when it destroyed Citadel several years prior (all explained in Citadel ). Her identity not rumbled, she maintains cover, until she finds an opportunity to escape.
