Oil production in North Dakota will soon reach a new milestone

"It took us about 60 years to reach a billion barrels of oil." That first billion came from conventional wells.

PSC approves new power lines for northwestern North Dakota
WEBMar 6, 2024 · The Public Service Commission has approved two high-voltage power line projects that the Commission says will help alleviate the power congestion in northwest North Dakota and the Bakken region. The shorter line is a 345 kilovolt line in Williams County. That line is just under 15 miles long.

Moorhead murder victim identified as 14-year-old girl
WEBAug 21, 2024 · Police in Moorhead say 14-year-old Jaelyn Walker is the murder victim that was found on the bank of the Red River early Tuesday morning. 18-year-old Isaac Arndt of Fargo remains in custody in connection with her death.
